St George’s School is a girls' school in Edinburgh, Scotland’s capital city. The school has academic and social links with Merchiston Castle School – a nearby boys’ school. As a girls’ school, St George’s promotes freedom from stereotypes and encourages their girls to take all the opportunities they can.
St George’s School has a unique curriculum as it is one of very few UK boarding schools where pupils can sit GCSEs followed by Highers and Advanced Highers instead of A Levels.
