The partnership with Loughborough College is significant in offering a comprehensive educational experience to talented athletes. Loughborough College has been rated 'Outstanding' by Ofsted for providing exceptional care, support, leadership, and experiences to students.
The meticulously designed football program, spearheaded by the Head of Football and an elite coaching team comprised of former professionals and UEFA-qualified coaches, promises an unparalleled journey of skill enhancement and personal development. At FCV, players embark on a transformative experience with daily training sessions focussed on elevating fitness, strength and conditioning, skill proficiency, and tactical awareness. FCV's comprehensive approach aims to enhance every facet of an individual's game, ensuring an extensive and well-rounded skill set.
Over 80% of students at FCV are international, with almost every continent being represented by more than 45 different nationalities. The partnership with Leicester Language Academy provides the option for any student to study English as an additional language during their time with us. There are three distinct accommodation blocks including twin shared rooms, equipped with spacious cupboards, drawers, and desks. Each accommodation block boasts inviting lounge areas and free WiFi, encouraging players to unwind and strengthen bonds.
In the player's hub at Grace Dieu Manor Park, there is a pool table, table tennis table, air hockey, games consoles and television where the best football leagues can be watched. During the evenings there are organised games, activities, and movie nights. FCV strives to create a vibrant community beyond the pitch.
Venturing outside of the academy, there are weekly visits to local supermarkets and monthly trips to nearby cities and shopping centres. The annual calendar includes at least two exciting excursions, featuring Premier League stadium tours and live matches. For those seeking more, optional excursions to attractions, theme parks, and leisure activities are also available.
